HEC's New Website: Coming this Summer to a Computer or Tablet Near You

You asked for easy online access to the HR resources you need.  You asked for a streamlined process to register for HEC's cutting edge programs.  You asked for a simplified procedure for logging onto the Member Resources section of the website.

?and we listened!

This summer, Hawaii Employers Council will introduce an enhanced website to bring more value to members across the state.  The new site will provide easy access to the resources you need to get the job done right.  Some of the enhancements you can expect include:

  • Simplified Login Procedures. Member company numbers and quarterly password mailings will be a thing of the past on the new website.  Instead, individual users will have user names based on their personal company email addresses as well as personal passwords of their own choosing.  On a quarterly basis, the Council will send users a validation email to confirm that they still work with the member company.  A simple click of the link contained in that email will ensure continued access to the website.

  • Easier online event registration. Find an exciting new leadership or compliance training that you just can't miss?  No problem!  With HEC's enhanced online event registration process, your contact information will be pre-populated in the registration fields for the course you select.  You will be able to pay registration fees by credit card quickly and efficiently.

  • Seamless integration with CCH AnswersNow. HEC members already enjoy complimentary access to an online resource, CCH AnswersNow, but users are currently required to log into CCH using a personal email address after logging into the HEC website with their company's number and the quarterly password.  When the new HEC website is launched, that second login will disappear.  Users will have immediate access to CCH by simply clicking on the CCH link after they've logged into HEC's new website.

  • Increased Search Capabilities.  HEC's website contains a wealth of research reports, news digest articles, legislative information, template forms, and more for member reference and use.  To improve the ease of access to this information, the new website will feature filtering options that allow users to narrow down what they are looking for in a more timely manner.

Ready to get started?  If you want to be among the first to access the new website, there are steps you can take now to set up your new individual login ID.  That ID will be comprised of a personal username (company email address) and an individualized password of your choosing.  HEC has emailed a company contact list to the primary contact for current member companies. To ensure uninterrupted access to the new website, it is important to complete and return the updated contact list to website@hecouncil.org.  The deadline for submitting this information was April 14, 2017, but HEC will continue to accept late submissions at this time.  To ensure that this is done, you should check with your organization's primary contact to confirm that your name and email address are listed on your company's contact list.

Once the new website launches, those who do not have an individual login will not be able to access the members-only and event registration sections of the website until they request and are granted web access. (There will be a link to ?request a password.')

For more information, see HEC's New Website FAQs.  We will continue to provide additional updates closer to the date of implementation.  If you have questions or concerns in the meantime, please email website@hecouncil.org.  Thank you for your partnership with HEC and cooperation in this process!
