Reminder: Minimum Wage to Increase Again Next Year

Published Tuesday, November 21, 2017 6:33 am

On January 1, 2018, Hawaii’s minimum wage will increase for the fourth and final year in a row. Under the schedule developed by Act 82, SLH 2015, the minimum wage rate will rise from $9.25 per hour to $10.10 per hour. This is the final incremental increase mandated by Act 82.

As a reminder, the current Hawaii minimum wage poster outlining Hawaii’s current minimum wage requirements must be posted in the workplace in a location that is accessible to employees.
