The Bureau of Labor Statistics has announced plans to increase the frequency with which it publishes Consumer Price Index information for the Honolulu metropolitan area.  Historically, such information has been published semiannually in the January and July issues of the CPI Detailed Report.  According to a press release issued late last month, the agency will rename the Honolulu index “Urban Hawaii” and publish it, along with several other geographic areas, bi-monthly during odd months beginning in January of 2018.  Click here for more information.
