HEC has published its Legislative Digest and Legislative Highlights article for bills that have been introduced for the 2018 legislative session.

The Legislative Digest includes a list of bills that may be of interest to employers and describes the bills in the form that they were introduced at the beginning of session.  Some of these measures have since been amended or killed by the legislature.  Due to the fast pace of the legislative session, such changes are not noted on the Legislative Digest.  Rather, the Legislative Digest explains what bills were introduced for this session.  The Legislative Highlights article, however, includes a deeper discussion on several of the employment-related bills and also provides an update for some of the bills that have already been amended (or killed) through the legislative process.
