Is Your Company Ready to Transform? Introducing HEC’s Organizational Effectiveness Program

Published Tuesday, April 24, 2018 6:28 am

While Gallup’s recent State of the American Workplace study reports that only 35% of Hawaii’s workforce is engaged in their work, studies show that organizations with engaged employees realize many benefits, including improved business outcomes, increased employee loyalty and lower turnover.

To assist employers in efforts to increase employee engagement, Hawaii Employers Council is pleased to introduce Transform: HEC’s Organizational Effectiveness Program.  The program is complimentary for eligible HEC members, although customization through add-on services is also available.

This year’s program is comprised of:

  • An Organizational Effectiveness Survey that will run online between July 9 and July 27:  Paper survey distribution is available for a fee. Survey participants will receive a detailed feedback report with results presented by breakouts, as well as information on top drivers and distractors of engagement, comparison of results with Hawaii and National norms, and more.
  • A Survey Briefing Session:  This session, scheduled for August 23, will enable survey participants to review and understand the feedback report and overall aggregate data.
  • Three Facilitated Learning Circle Sessions:  These sessions, which will run in September, will help survey participants understand key drivers and root causes of the three most common workplace challenges survey participants face, as reported in the 2018 survey report, as well as offering strategies to address them.

Sound good?  Registration will run from May 7 to June 5 and is open to every organization that:

  • Is an active member in good standing with HEC for the duration of the 2018 Organizational Effectiveness Program period (May 1, 2018 – October 1, 2018);
  • Has a minimum of 20 full-time employees working in Hawaii; and
  • Is committed to improving employees’ work experience, creating an engaged workforce, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
