Many college students seek internships for school credit and work experience, leaving many employers tempted at the prospect of free help.  However, there are rules that employers must abide by, including those promulgated by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).  In the latest HEC TV Video, HR Advisor Janice Yates highlights the DOL’s “primary beneficiary” test to help employers understand whether the intern should be paid.
