Did you receive a Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letter (CSAL)? The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) mailed 750 CSALs on September 7 as a supplement to the first batch sent in March.
This CSAL is a courtesy notice to contractors that OFCCP will begin sending Scheduling Letters in 45 days. The Scheduling Letter notifies the contractor that it has been selected for an audit. Receipt of the Scheduling Letter starts the 30-day clock for contractors to submit their Affirmative Action Programs (AAP) and supporting materials. According to OFCCP’s FAQ, OFCCP will grant a one-time 30-day extension for supporting data under certain conditions.
If you want to confirm whether a CSAL was sent to your establishment, you can e-mail a written request on company letterhead to the Division of Program Operations at OFCCP-DPO-Scheduling@dol.gov.
If you received a CSAL, be sure your AAP is current and compliant. HEC can support you in this process. HEC members can visit HEC’s resources here, or contact Dayna Kamimura-Ching at dkamimura-ching@hecouncil.org
