HEC has published its Legislative Digest for bills that were introduced for the 2019 legislative session.
The Legislative Digest contains a list of bills that may be of interest to employers and provides a brief description of each bill. As seen on the Digest, there are several employment-related bills that will be considered by legislators this session, including measures affecting minimum wage, notice of work schedules, nondisclosure agreements, employment discrimination, social media privacy, family leave, workers’ compensation, pay transparency, and more.
The Legislative Digest will be updated during session as we pass each major deadline.
