Due to the partial government shutdown, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) recently postponed the opening of the EEO-1 Survey until “early March 2019.” The EEOC also announced a two-month extension of the deadline to May 31, 2019.
EEO-1 Reports must be filed by:
- Employers with at least 100 employees, OR
- Companies that are owned by or corporately affiliated with another company and the entire enterprise employs a total of 100 or more employees, OR
- Federal government prime contractors or first-tier subcontractors subject to Executive Order 11246 with 50 or more employees and with a federal contract amounting to $50,000 or more.
