Rail Construction Impacting HEC

Beginning May 13, 2019, traffic flow on the Makai side of Waiwai Loop will be one-way only, allowing vehicles to only exit there.  No vehicles will be allowed to enter the Makai side of the loop.

Entrance into Waiwai Loop will only be accessible on the Mauka side of the loop.  Two-way traffic will continue on the Mauka side of Waiwai Loop until the start of the work zone at Hawaii Employers Council.

The map below illustrates the revised traffic flow, which is expected to last three (3) months as Shimmick/Traylor/Granite (STG) continues rail construction near HEC.
