Is Your Company Ready to Transform?

Published Tuesday, May 7, 2019 6:27 am

While Gallup’s recent State of the American Workplace study reports that only 35% of Hawaii’s workforce is engaged in their work, studies show that organizations with engaged employees realize many benefits, including improved business outcomes, increased employee loyalty and lower turnover.

To help employers increase employee engagement and create a thriving and better workplace, Hawaii Employers Council is pleased to introduce Transform 2019 - HEC’s Organizational Effectiveness Program.  The program is complimentary for eligible HEC members, although customization through add-on services is also available.  Registration runs from May 6 to June 5, 2019.

The 2019 program is comprised of:

  • An Organizational Effectiveness Survey that will run online between July 22 and August 9:  Participating members will receive a detailed feedback report with results presented by breakouts, as well as information on top drivers and distractors of engagement, comparison of results with Hawaii and National norms, and more. Members who participated in the 2018 Organizational Effectiveness Survey have the option to participate in a pulse survey.  Paper surveys are available for a fee.
  • Three Facilitated Learning Circle Sessions:  These sessions will help participating members understand key drivers and root causes of the three most common workplace challenges identified in the 2019 Hawaii Overall report as well as offering strategies to address these challenges.

  • Is an active member in good standing with HEC for the duration of the 2019 Organizational Effectiveness Program period (May 6, 2019 – November 1, 2019);
  • Has a minimum of 20 full-time employees working in Hawaii; and
  • Is committed to improving employees’ work experience, creating an engaged workforce, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
