Upcoming Deadline: VETS-4212 Report

Published Tuesday, August 6, 2019 6:27 am

The 2019 filing season for the VETS-4212 started on August 1.  The Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act (“VEVRAA”) requires covered federal contractors and subcontractors to report annually on their affirmative action efforts in employing veterans, by job category and hiring location.  Contractors that must comply with VETS-4212 reporting requirements include those employers with federal contracts valued at $150,000 or more.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) encourages VETS-4212 reports to be filed electronically on the VETS-4212 website.  Alternatively, reports may be submitted by email (contact.vets@dol.gov) or postal mail:

Assistant Secretary for Veterans’ Employment and Training
U.S. Department of Labor
200 Constitution Avenue, NW
Room S-1325
Washington, DC 20210
Attn: VETS-4212 Report Filing

The VETS-4212 Report must be submitted by September 30.  For more information, visit the DOL’s VETS-4212 website or these Frequently Asked Questions.
