The Hawaii Department of Labor and Industrial Relations Research & Statistics Office issued Wage Rate Schedule Bulletin No. 496 and Apprentice Schedule Bulletin No. 496, both effective September 16.
These schedules determine the applicable wage for each classification of workers and apprentices working on public construction projects for the purposes of Chapter 104 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. The wage rates in the Apprentice Schedule are applicable only to apprentices and contractors who are parties to an apprenticeship program that has been registered with the DLIR.
Contractors should adjust wages accordingly.
