The weather is finally cooling off, but with the cold and wet weather comes cold and flu season. Here are some tips and resources to help keep your employees healthy.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), recommends that everyone 6 months and older get the flu vaccine each year. Getting vaccinated is the best way to reduce your chance of getting the flu. Help keep your employees healthy by organizing an onsite flu shot clinic or reminding employees of the importance of getting vaccinated against the flu and promote getting flu shots on their own through their local pharmacy or doctor.
Additionally, remind sick employees not to come to work. While you appreciate their dedication, you don’t want to risk them getting sicker and/or spreading their sickness to coworkers.
