Supreme Court Prohibits Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Discrimination

On June 15, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, that federal law banning sex discrimination in the workplace includes prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. While this is a landmark decision for the nation, Hawaii has long prohibited such discrimination. Learn more.
