When was the last time you updated your COVID-19 face covering policy?  As more information about the effectiveness of various face coverings is released, employers should revisit their employee face covering policies.  Hawaii Employers Council has created this Model Face Covering Policy to help businesses create or update their employee policies.[1]

This policy should be tailored to reflect your particular business needs and the most recent government orders and public health guidance.  Please note that the way you modify the policy may implicate employment laws.  For help tailoring the policy to your business, please contact your HEC Human Resources Consultant.
