The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“OSHA”) updated its Site-Specific Targeting ("SST") Directive, which is its main inspection plan for non-construction workplaces with 20+ employees. Under the new directive, OSHA will look at employer-submitted Form 300A data for calendar years 2017-2019 to target sites reflecting a rate increase during that period. Additionally, if it is determined that incorrect data led to an establishment's inclusion in the program, the scope of an inspection can be changed from a comprehensive to a records-only inspection.
