On Friday, September 24, Richard Rand, Partner at Marr Jones & Wang provided HEC members an update on local issues and recent developments related to curbing the spread of COVID-19. Mr. Rand discussed the implementation issues that employers faced during the first two weeks of Oahu’s Safe Access and Maui’s Safer Outside programs, exemptions to the vaccination mandates, as well as new Occupational Safety and Health Administration rules on the horizon.
