This year, Governor David has declared November 14 - 20, 2021, as Human Resources Professionals Week to honor those who perform human resources functions in Hawaii. Join us in celebrating and thanking Hawaii’s human resources professionals this week! Click on the image for a PDF version.
Hawaii Employers Council extends a heartfelt appreciation to the 5,500 human resources professionals throughout the state and thanks its 800 member companies for their continued work and commitment to the HR profession in service to their employees and respective organizations. Human resources professionals across Hawaii have taken unprecedented measures to keep their employees safe and to care for their wellbeing for the past year and a half. They rapidly adjusted to mass remote work, complied with new employment and compliance laws, developed business continuity plans, emergency procedures, and internal communications.
Please join us in celebrating your human resources team. This person or persons may have a traditional HR job title (e.g., Employee and Labor Relations, Recruiter, Compensation Manager, Talent Manager, Learning & Development Director, Safety Manager, Benefit Specialist, or HR Specialist) or a non-HR job title (e.g., Office Manager, Controller, General Manager, or Operations Manager). As long as they perform HR functions for your organization, please remember to recognize them and show your appreciation.
You're welcome to post your words of appreciation on HEC's kudoboard in celebration of Human Resources Professionals Week.
