Governor David Ige earlier announced that the state's indoor mask mandate would expire on March 25 at 11:59 p.m. along with the Safe Travels Hawaii Program (as part of the Governor's January 26 Emergency Proclamation Related to COVID-19 set to expire).
Moving forward, Governor Ige and the State Department of Health will heed the guidance from the CDC and consider a myriad of local factors to determine if and when the indoor mask mandate may be reinstated as well as any other restrictions or limitations.
