We recently surveyed Hawaii Employers Council's member companies to determine how they have responded to the dropping of all county-mandated COVID-19 restrictions as well as how they’ll respond to the soon-to-be rescinded state indoor mask mandate. The survey was conducted during the week of March 10, and a total of 119 member companies participated in this Pulse Survey.
Survey highlights:
- 50 member companies plan on dropping the indoor mask mandate for employees and customers while 32 companies plan on keeping an indoor mask mandate in place.
- Over a third of respondents (40) plan on requiring new employees to be fully vaccinated while 13 respondents dropped a workplace mandatory vaccination and/or test policy altogether.
- While 23 respondents dropped all applicable state and county COVID-19 respondents, most companies (71) have kept (or will keep) some policies in place.
