June 30 – Important Deadline for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors

Published Tuesday, April 5, 2022

Federal contractors and subcontractors that meet certain jurisdictional thresholds have an obligation to develop and maintain written Affirmative Action Programs (AAPs). This year, federal contractors (and subcontractors) have until June 30 to certify the status of their AAPs.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs requires qualified federal contractors and subcontractors to certify, on an annual basis, whether they are meeting their requirement to develop and maintain annual AAPs. The Contractor Portal, a new OFCCP platform, was launched on March 31.

You can view the OFCCP Contractor Portal informational page here. Click here for the Contractor Portal.

OFCCP has also gathered the following resources to assist federal contractors and subcontractors with compliance:

We also have a Guide to Developing an Affirmative Action Program to assist member companies.

Please reach out to your assigned HR consultant if you have any specific questions or require assistance in developing or reviewing your AAP.
