For you:
- U.S. SBA low-interest disaster loans:
- Business Physical Disaster Loan (loans to businesses to repair/replace disaster-damaged property, including real estate, inventories, supplies, machinery, and equipment). Deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023. Visit the SBA's Disaster Loan Page to apply. - Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) (working capital to help businesses meet their ordinary and necessary financial obligations that cannot be met as a direct result of the wildfires). - IRS Tax Relief: Businesses affected by the wildfires have until February 15, 2024, to file returns and pay any taxes that were originally due on or after Aug. 8, 2023. For more detailed information, including what types of tax payments and returns that are deferred, visit IRS.gov.
- Kākoʻo Maui Fund: The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement is currently accepting funding applications from small businesses, nonprofits and community organizations. No deadline given. - FEMA Disaster Assistance: Deadline to apply is Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023. How to apply: (1) Visit DisasterAssistance.gov; (2) apply through the FEMA mobile app; or (3) call the FEMA Helpline at (800) 621-3362.

- People’s Fund of Maui: Adults (18+) who lost their primary residence in the recent fires are eligible to receive $1200/mo. No deadline given. To apply and for more information, visit the People's Fund of Maui website.
- Hawaii Realtors Disaster Relief Assistance: The deadline to apply is December 31, 2023. A maximum of $3,000/household can be sought to assist with monthly mortgage expenses for a primary residence damaged by the wildfire, rental costs due to displacement from the primary residence, or hotel reimbursement due to displacement.
