We are excited to share with our members an on-demand video partially created with AI technology!

In April, the Hawaii Employers Council held a live, online training event on employee leave laws and benefits for Hawaii employers. Due to the high interest in this topic and in response to members’ requests for more on-demand compliance training, we turned the live training on employee leave laws into an on-demand video entitled “Introduction to Employee Leave.” This video was created with HeyGen, an AI-powered video creation service that uses an AI-generated avatar and voice. This means that the “trainer” in the video is an avatar. Rest assured, however, that the content of the video is entirely the work of the Hawaii Employers Council. The video is available here. The benefit of using HeyGen and an AI-generated avatar and voice is that HEC can create additional professional, on-demand compliance training for our members efficiently without affecting the quality of HEC’s training content or other member training created and facilitated by HEC’s dynamic and knowledgeable talent and organizational development team.

These types of on-demand training are a new feature that HEC is experimenting with in our continued journey to innovate and provide the best services for our members.
