ICE and DOL Announce Increased Penalties for Violations

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced increased penalties for Immigration Reform & Control Act (IRCA) violations that became effective on January 2, 2025.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced increased penalties for Immigration Reform & Control Act (IRCA) violations that became effective on January 2, 2025.

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) also announced increased penalties for violations of federal laws it enforces, which include the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) that became effective January 15, 2025.
