Manager, Talent & Organizational Development
Leslie brings 26 years of talent development and organizational development experience to Hawaii Employers Council.Before joining HEC, Leslie was a talent management and organizational development consultant for Hawaiian Electric Company, responsible for leading corporate learning and development initiatives. She developed the company’s first new supervisor’s training program and launched an online learning management system. Her earlier experience includes manager of learning and development for Hawaiian Telcom; 30 years of operations experience, as the vice president of operations for a managed services company, and operations manager at some of the largest real estate companies in Hawaii and New England. Leslie has a deep understanding of Hawaii's local business culture as well as conducting business abroad.
In Leslie’s role at HEC, she is responsible for analyzing the educational and organizational challenges of HEC’s members; developing and administering custom training solutions and providing organizational interventions to achieve improved states of operation.
Leslie is a former president of the Hawaii Association for Talent Development and is a certified facilitator of Development Dimensions International (DDI) Interaction Management Curriculum for Frontline Leaders. She is also a Certified Practitioner and Trainer of Prosci Change Management’s tools and methodologies.
