It is finally here! HEC’s new website will launch tomorrow, and we encourage everyone to click here and have a look. Aside from the noticeable aesthetic changes, the new website features many improvements including: easier navigation through an updated user interface, an all-in-one resources section to assist your HR research, a simplified process for HEC event online registration, and more.
Until the end of November, you can access both the current website and the new design through a link on the current website. Beginning on Monday, December 4, the new website will officially be available at www.hecouncil.org.
If you want to access the password-protected member section of the new website, you will need an individual user account. Members can decide which employees are eligible for individual user accounts and the level of member-only website access that each user may have. These access levels include:
- Contact Full Access - Users with Full Access permissions are employees from a member company. They will have access to member privileged resources and register online for events with the member price.
- Contact Registration Only Access - Users with Registration Only permissions are employees from a member company. They will not be able to access member privileged resources. The user will be allowed to register online for events with the member price.
- No Access - No Access permission is given to non-members and can also be given members. Users will have access to the public side of the website but no access to the member side. Users can register online for events that are open to both members and non-members but they will be charged the non-member rate. Users will not be allowed to register for member only events. If member employees with “No Access” designation plan to attend an HEC event, an employee with Full Access or Registration Only permissions can register them online at the member price.
Please note that if your company’s employee access permissions have not been specified by your primary HR contact, your employees will default to the “No Access” designation. Your primary HR contact can specify employee access permissions by submitting an updated contact list to website@hecouncil.org as soon as possible. Employees working at companies that have already submitted an updated contact list should have received a welcome email containing their username and password.
If you have questions about the new website, you can email them to website@hecouncil.org. You can also check out HEC TV for “how to” tutorials on individual logins, navigating the homepage, member dashboard and resources sections, and completing online event registration.
Thank you for your partnership with HEC and we hope you enjoy the new website.
